Smriti Deokule founded NuVista Strategies, Inc. in 2001. At NuVista, she utilizes her knowledge and skills in both strategic planning and consumer research to provide actionable recommendations to leading global clients. With 20+ years of industry experience, Smriti is an expert in leading complex global projects that help clients develop innovative marketing strategies for their markets. Smriti has in depth Market Structure expertise and has generated over 50 Market Structure studies in the past few years. At NuVista, Smriti along with Omar has established a new methodology for Market Structure work which has been instrumental for the clients in implementing marketing strategies. She has held executive management positions at CNET, Kraft, A.C. Nielsen, Dun & Bradstreet and GE Capital. Smriti earned her M.B.A in Finance and Marketing from SUNY at Buffalo. |

Omar Rodriguez has been with NuVista for over five years. He leads the analytics function of NuVista which is core to the value we deliver to our clients. Omar has over 15 years of experience in econometric modeling, discrete choice modeling, cost/benefit analysis, regression analysis, and customer value and satisfaction analyses. He also has an in-depth understanding of economic forecasting, pricing, market and consumer segmentation, data management and data mining techniques. Omar has held statistical positions at Harte-Hanks and Sempra Energy and worked extensively with Microsoft and AT&T; he earned his MS in Economics from San Diego State University. |

Jill joined NuVista in 2008 with over 18 years of experience in consumer research and strategy. Jill spent over 16 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Kraft Foods and served as a Consumer Insights Director within the North American business unit, as well as, the Global Category Development Group where she managed many international strategic research efforts. Jill’s experience includes leading numerous market structure and segmentation projects for her business teams, as well as, in-depth exploration of consumers’ usage behaviors, needs and motivations. Jill also brings a wealth of client-side experience in New Business Development & Innovation, Brand Strategy & Positioning, Portfolio Management and Multicultural Marketing. Jill holds an MBA in Marketing and Management from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. |

Mike Duffy joined NuVista as a Senior Advisor in July, 2008. He is a founding member of the Marketing Accountability Standards Board, allowing him to exercise his passion for advancing the standards set for improving return on marketing investment through cost effective marketplace measurement, valid and reliable analytics, and fact based marketing principles. Mike was most recently a Senior Vice President of Marketing for Nielsen Advisory Services. Previous positions include President of Gen 5, Director of Analytics and Marketplace Measurement at Kraft Foods, Senior Manager Analytics and Syndicated Services for PepsiCo, marketing science consultant for General Foods, and New Service Development Manager for AC Nielsen. Mike holds an MS in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Biology from Michigan State University. He has served as a member of the ARF Board of Directors, an MSI Trustee, and currently Interim Trustee of MAF serving on the Finance Committee. |
